Jewar Airport: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), the nodal agency for the mega project, has identified nine villages with an estimated cost of Rs 6,000 crore to approve the Centre’s plans for an international airport at Jewar in Greater Noida.

Most of the farmers have said that they have no problem selling their land, provided that the officials offering ‘beautiful deals’ are Raja Kalpur, Shivra, Kishor, Banwarpur, Roha, Ramar, Nagla Ganesh, Nagla Dishder, Nagla Saiphach. And Nagla Cheetah villages have been set up for land acquisition, said Hand Additional CEO Amar Nath Upadhyay.
