Better Call Soul has a sixth and final season release date.
AMC has announced that the legendary tale of Saul Goodman or Jimmy McGill will end with its sixth and final season on April 18, if you’re interested.
Season two begins with back-to-back episodes, marking the beginning of the end for Jimmy McGill, a fine lawyer who becomes Sal Goodman, Walter White’s legal partner in Breaking Bad.
The final season will be divided into two parts, with the first seven episodes airing every week after April 18 and the last six seasons on July 11.
In addition, three new original short-form series featuring Better Call Soul will be aired on AMC’s digital platform. These include the animated series Slipline Jimmy, Coopers Bar and more Best Call Soul employee training videos.
Better Cole Soul premiered in 2015 after Breaking Bad. The series traces the origins of Sol Goodman (Bob Odenkirk), a lawyer who worked as a legal advisor to Walter White and became the King of Drugs. By the end of the series, Goodman has gone into hiding, and Better Cole Soul appears after his downfall, hiding under a new identity in Nebraska.
Since its premiere, Better Cole Soul has received over 100 nominations at the Primetime Emmy Awards, including Best Drama and Best Leading Actor. The team behind Breaking Bed had questions about how they could move the series forward, but Better Cole Soul could justify itself as a spinoff.
